उग्रत्वं च मृदुत्वं च समयं वीक्ष्य संश्रयेत् |
अन्धकारमसंहृत्य नोग्रो भवति भास्कर: ||
ugratvam cha mrudutvam cha samayam veekshya samshrayet
andhakaaramasamhrutya nogro bhavati bhaaskarah
A person should act harshly or gently depending on the situation (time). Even Sun does not shine brightly till he removes the darkness. (at the time of dawn, it is mild).
