अभिमानो धनंयेषां चिरजीवन्ति ते जनाः ।
अभिमानविहीनानां किं धनेन किमायुषा ॥
abhimaano dhanam yeShaam chirajeevanti te janaah l
abhimaanaviheenaanaam kim dhanena kimaayuShaa ll
Those for whom the self respect is the wealth, live longer (They are remembered even after their death). But without self-respect, what is the use of either wealth or longevity?
