inI want to share something with you about the cuckoo and her feathered friend, crow. Whether you see the one or the other, since both are black, the difference is apparent to none. But when the winter fades away and gives birth to colourful Spring, the heavenly voice of the cuckoo from the trees doth ring. And so it is with the good. Outer appearances matter not. It’s the stuff that they are made of, that the world’s attention is caught. So be like the cuckoo, develop your strengths within and make a difference to every life you touch by heralding the Spring in.

श्रीमद्भगवद्गीता-
A person who is not disturbed by the incessant flow of desires that
enter like rivers into the ocean which is ever full but is always
still can alone achieve peace, and not the one who tries to satisfy
every such desire.

inजानामि धर्मं न च मे प्रवृत्तिः
जानाम्यधर्मं न च मे निवृत्तिः ।
केनपि देवेन ह्र्दिस्थितेन
यथा नियुक्तोस्मि तथा करोमि ॥
This Subhaashita is utterd by Duryodhana while speaking to Draupadi.
Draupadi asks Duryodhana
that what is the reason that inspite of having many common things
between Kauravas and Pandavas, the same family (kula) , the same Guru
Dronacharya , the same Pitamah Bhishma ,How is it that kauravas always
followed the path of Adharma and the Pandavas always followed the path
of Dharma? To this question Duryodhana says the above Subhaashita.
Meaning
I know what is Dharma but I don’t have the tendency to follow it ,I
know what is Adharma but I can’t get myself free from it.There is
some mighty power (as if) which is inside my heart ,the way it guides
me I do .
We all behave in the same way many times in our lives , inspite of
knowing what is right and what is wrong we choose to do the wrong
action . We ought to train our mind to always take the right option
come what may!
