For all my mistakes of omissions (in not performing the good and prescribed actions) and commissions (of performing bad and prohibited actions) – arising from my actions, performed by my organs of action …
– hands (such as not doing things like charity or helping others or performing wrong actions like slapping or even pointing fingers),
– feet (such as not going to the places where one should go – like temples etc. or going to places where one should not be going – like a pub or a bar etc.),
– organ of speech (such as not chanting the name of the Lord or using abusive language etc.),
– body (such as now bowing one’s head in front of the Lord or being very lazy and unclean etc.)
Or even the mistakes produced by the sense organs of perception …
– ears (such as not listening to the name of the Lord being chanted or listening to things not healthy for me / my mind)
– eyes (such as not enjoying the divine form of the Lord or enjoying watching unhealthy things)
Or the mistakes committed by the Mind through the thoughts it entertains (such as not thinking of the Lord all the time or cluttering the mind with sensuous and selfish thoughts) …
Please forgive them all – born out of non-performance of enjoined duties or performance of prohibited actions or actions which are not explicitly prescribed (that is actions done by self-judgement, by mere habit, without much thinking, unknowingly) – O Lord.
Glory to You, O Sri Mahadeva Shambho, I surrender to you – who are the ocean of compassion, the abode of Blessedness.
