एकतः काञ्चनो मेरुः बहुरत्ना वसुन्धरा ।
एकतो भयभीतस्य प्राणिनः प्राणरक्षणम् ॥
ekatah kanchano meruh bahuratnaa vasundharaa l
ekato bhayabheetasya praaNinah praNarakShaNam ll
The poet says here that if you put the mountain Meru of gold along with the earth with all its gems in one pan of the weighing scales and the assurance of safety and life given to a fearful animal in the other, they will balance each other.
